A few words about me.

My name is Dariusz Joński. I was born on January 12, 1979, in Łódź. It is for Łódź and the Łódź Voivodeship that I have proudly worked from the very beginning of my political journey.
In June 2024, thanks to the trust of voters, I was elected to the European Parliament on behalf of the Civic Coalition, achieving the best result in the Łódź Voivodeship – 194,109 votes. In the European Parliament, I am a member of the European People’s Party.
I sit on the Committee on Transport and Tourism, where I am the vice-coordinator, as well as on the Petitions Committee and the International Trade Committee. One of my main goals in the European Parliament is to work for the development of Polish and European road, rail, and air infrastructure. This directly relates to the role I perform. Privately, I am a proud husband to Małgosia and a father to Laura and Oliwier.

Member of the European Parliament
In June 2024, thanks to the trust of voters, I was elected to the European Parliament on behalf of the Civic Coalition. In the European Parliament, I am a member of the European People's Party (EPP). I sit on the Committee on Transport and Tourism and the Petitions Committee.

Chairman of the Inquiry Committee on Postal Voting
In December 2023, I became the chairman of the Inquiry Committee on postal voting. Over the course of six months, the committee held 26 sessions, interviewed 33 witnesses, resulting in a 400-page report and 12 proposals to the prosecutor's office regarding 19 individuals.

Member of the 10th term of Parliament
In the 2023 elections, I became the leader of the Civic Coalition list in the Łódź district and received 87,470 votes, securing a seat in the 10th term of the Parliament.

Member of the 9th term of Parliament
In 2019, I was re-elected as a member of parliament, running on behalf of the Civic Coalition in the Sieradz district, receiving 11,999 votes. In 2023, together with Michał Szczerba, we published a book titled "Wielkie żniwa. Jak PiS ukradł Polskę" (Great Harvest. How PiS Stole Poland), which was the result of parliamentary investigations that we both conducted during the 9th term of the Sejm.

Member of the 7th term of Parliament
In 2011, I was elected for the first time as a Member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm). In the voting, I received 15,164 votes.

Deputy Mayor of Łódź
In 2010, I initiated a referendum that led to the dismissal of the then Mayor of Łódź. I was subsequently appointed Deputy Mayor of Łódź and held this position until December 2010.

Councilor of the City of Łódź
In 2006, I was first elected as a councilor of Łódź.
